Early 2008, myself along with three other partners signed a contract with Monster Energy to distribute Monster Energy Drinks in Sweden . A good friend and now partner, Lars Bergkvist, about bringing Monster to Sweden , approached me almost 2 years ago. It seemed like a long shot at the time, but we began going through the necessary channels in order to make the correct contacts and eventually put it all together. During the process, Lars brought in two other partners Torbjorn Bengtsen, a CEO of a large super market chain and Patrik Lindehag, a Successful Entrepreneur to build the company and foundation for the distribution.

Our timing was perfect. Monster Energy, had only in early 2008 set up its European offices in the UK in order to begin looking for distributors across Europe . Our company, SMX Drinks AB, kicked off in August of 2008. It is the first micro company to distribute Monster in Europe . Sales are increasing fast in Sweden as the Monster name was already so well known and long awaited for in Sweden . It has been a great adventure and a cool company with to do business! I have been working hard to promote Monster through the Speedway world in my Grand Prix Team as well as my domestic league racing. The feedback has been incredible, but what else would you expect from Monster?? Awesome!
