We started the Grand Prix circuit last Saturday in Prague and as most of you will have seen, in my first ride I didn’t get any further than the start line because my engine went just as the tapes went up. I had no other choice but to change bikes.

The second bike worked pretty well. I won two races, came second in my other two rides and scored enough points to make the Semi Finals.
All through the meeting if you didn’t make the start you were waiting for the others to make a mistake. There was no other choice because that was how the track was.

In my semi final I made a good start, but it was not to be. In the re-run I again made a decent start, as did everyone else and we all arrived at the first turn together. I got squeezed out on the first turn and I was left to follow on the only line that there was on the track.

It was an encouraging start though and we still have the remaining 10 GP’s to go at.

Tonight I start my Swedish fixtures in Indianerna.
