01/08/2008 Hancock linked to Monster Energy Drink Sweden! I have teamed up with 3 business partners in Falun, Sweden to be the first micro company to distribute Monster Energy Drink. I was first approached approximately a year and a half ago by good friend Lars Bergkvist to contact Monster in the USA about the possibility of distributing the product in Sweden. This was a dream mission. Our discussions led to numerous phone calls, emails etc for the following months before making the dream an actual reality. Lars Bergkvist had also linked up with another 2 partners to complete the company called “SMX Drinks AB”. The first is Torbjorn Bengtsen who has been CEO of some large super market chains in Sweden and very successful entreprenor Patrik Lindehag. This has become one of the most exciting adventures or projects for me to date and we will make it a great success! Monster set up their European offices this year and we have struck a great relationship with them in the short time that we have been putting the deal together. Monster is a very young company in the USA and is growing incredibly fast. We are really excited to assist in that growth and expansion. We have big plans to promote Monster Energy and I am sure that you will see that if you have not seen it already! We are also currently working on a sponsorship plan with Monster to join my “Team Hancock” sponsorship group and support my quest to be World Champion again.
