The word in the pits at today’s practice in Terenzano was I wish I had my long track bike. Most of the riders are riding for the first time, including Greg, in Terenzano. During a track walk prior to the start of practice, Greg said, “Wow, the straights are really long.” At 400 meters, it is the longest track on the Grand Prix circuit. It has long straights and tight corners which should make for some interesting racing Saturday night.
Practice went extremely good, with Greg posting some of the quickest times. After practice Greg said, “We learned a lot today. Coming to a new track, makes practice was very important. I had to learn which lines to take and we tried several different setups. Some of them worked and some didn’t.” “With Jason not at 100% and the final rostrum places still up for grabs we will be going all out for a win and maximum points.”
