Greg raced to a perfect score in last nights 3rd round of the AMA National Speedway Championship series to capture his record breaking 8th National Championship. His win at Fast Fridays in Auburn California broke the old mark for championship wins held by the legendary Mike Bast. Mike was an idol of mine growing up and to be able to break his record is unbelievible, Greg said.

Over the 3 race series, Greg won an amazing 17 out of 18 heats. His only heat loss came in round 2, when he broke a rear chain while leading.

There wasn't much time to celebrate the victory, as Greg has to catch a flight back to Poland for Sundays meeting in the Polish 3rd place playoffs at his home track of Czestochowa. Greg still has one more round of the Grand Prix series left, were he has an outside chance of still gaining a podium place in the World Championships.
