On the ultra slick track in Bydgoszcz, Greg was only able to score 8 points missing out on a semi-final spot on count back. Greg finished the 20 heats tied with the new World Champion Jason Crump and Kenneth Bjerre. Bjerre got the 7th place based on two heat wins and Jason got the final spot by finishing ahead of Greg in heat 5. It was a big disappointment as the team had struggled all night find the right combination that would work on the slick track. It was the third time this season that Greg has missed the semi-finals on count back. Greg is not blaming the system as he should be winning races and not be in that position.

For the second year on the trot, Greg finished the season fourth overall in the series. Greg would like to thank all his team, fans, and sponsors for their support this year and will be back to win the championship in 2010.
