One good night. And one bad one… that’s a summary of Gregs weekend. He did very well in the Grand Prix in Gothenburg on Saturday. After the 20 qualifying rounds, Greg was number one with 12 points.
- I felt fast and everything was working really good, he said.
After finishing second in the semifinal, behind Tomasz Gollob, he did not really get the chance in the final, ending up fourth, after Kenneth Bjerre, Tomasz Gollob and Andreas Jonsson.
- My start in the final was neither good or bad enough, as you can say. I´ve got hanging on the outside of the other riders and never got in to the race. I was really disappointed, because when you reach the final you always wants to win.
Greg has now 18 points at seventh position in the Grand Prix 2010 standings.
On Sunday Greg had a really bad meeting with his polish club Zielona Gora away against Unia Leszno.. 4 points is not what Greg, or anyone else, expects from him.
- It was a disaster. I had big problems and crashed in the first heat trying to pass Leigh Adams. It was one of those bad nights, and I hope that was the one for me for this season. I hope bad nights don´t come in three, he continues, and adds the first Grand Prix in Leszno to that list.
