Greg Hancock secured his FOURTH speedway world championship by scoring the three points he needed in his first race at the 2016 Australian SGP

GH just needed to match Tai Woffinden’s opening-race score and he did just that with a brilliant heat four victory, sealing his fourth world title with time to spare as he joined the biggest names the sport has ever seen.

Speaking as he started to celebrate his incredible achievement, Greg said: “Everything just let go in my body, I didn’t know where to turn or what to do, I was just dumbfounded really. It feels equally as good as the other titles, every year it seems to get harder and harder and sometimes I surprise myself with the challenges I can rise to.
